> Problems accessing Wap on T610
Bookmark topic
Hi all.
I've just tried to load up v.live to check out a wap site I saw, but couldn't get it to connect. It says "Connecting" for a long time with that little scroll bar thing, then a message that reads "wrong access point name (apn)" comes up.
I've never had any troubles connecting to wap before, and have not changed any settings.
Please, can anyone suggest what might be happening?

Yup! The pre-installed vodafone live settings seem to be wrong. If you go to the vodafone website and then get the settings sent to your phone, all will be well.
I had this problem too.

Just spoke Vodsafones's GPRS Helpline and it seems it's a network problem that Vodafone are experiencing in southern England since this morning... VF's engineers currently working on it, should know more information later on this afternoon.

I had a similar problem last night and I'm in Northern England. I thought my settings might have screwed up so I deleted my settings and re-downloaded them from the Vodafone web-site. It was only then that I remembered that when I did this last time, it crashed my phone. And guess what, the same thing happened again. Anyway, I inputted the information manually, and all seems well again.

I've got a T610 on T-Mobile.
When I first turned it on to get my free reward from them (I'm going white water rafting!!).
The WAP screen got screwed up, dodgy charcters, missing letters etc.
Has this happened with anyone else?
