First of all, what does the hiss sound like on the first T610s?
I got my T610 from Expansys, last Friday, and it was a batch that was guaranteed not to hiss. I don't hear any kind of hissing, but sometimes I hear a clang/bell bonging sound once in a while, while I am talking on the phone, and I could have sworn I heard it on my T300 as well. Anyone else hear this bell sound? Or am I just crazy? I wonder if it happens with other sony ericsson phones....

what you hear is the minute minder... a sound that's played once minute during a call.... it can be turned off in the sound settings.
