i recently sent an email to the SE site, and they replied back with two sugestions for my battery:
-----------
Regarding your enquiry, here are two suggestions that might solve the problem:
Recondition the battery using the following instructions.
- Fully charge, then discharge the battery three times. This allows you to get
the maximum capacity of the battery.
- Clean off the contacts on the battery and on the back of the phone, with napkin
or a paper towel
----------
i want to know what does the 2nd one mean?? can someone explain more please.. thanks

I think they're saying to clean the metal contacts - with some suitable cleaning fluid, to ensure you have good contact. You can buy "Contact Cleaner" specifically for the job.

Well, in the UK, I would choose Maplin. You might be able to use other chemicals instead - such as WD40 (spray lubricant), or Turps/White Spirit (Paintbrush cleaner). Or maybe even a drop of petrol on a cotton bud.
If they contacts are shiny then you should be OK anyway. They'll only need cleaning if they're dull.

you can use video head cleaner just make sure that any metal objects do not touch the contacts as you can short out the battery.
