P800 is the most greatest phone in the market now, but why it doesn't support the latest 3G network?

If you look at all the 3G phones out there they are all very basic (and quite ugly I think!). All they have is a phone with video functions. The technology is too new yet for them to incorporate all the features of a P800. Also it would make the price prohibitive in what is an emerging market.

Yup you are rite, simple features. But I like the 3G video call, givin you face to face communication. Tat's wat i call the cool stuff, n P800 doesn't has it. Unless the SE makes an optional videocam/digicam to plug in. (like T68 n T610). hahah just kidding.

The P800 does not support 3G since it is a GSM phone. The 3G networks is so new and unstable that the obvious question should be why?
Videoconference call is nice, but, really how much would you pay for it? Nice to video conference with the girlfriend, but her mother? I don't think I would like to pay more than I have to for that kind of call.
Another thing is battery life. The 3G phones suck the battery dry quicker than the first beer on a sunny day. The P800 will survive the copule of years it takes for the 3G phones and network to get not good, but ok.

video calls = 50p per minute = uncool

+ Jittery quality no way near as good as what they show on the commercials

X

Crap net work coverage

+ Extrodinary high prices

= P800 king of mobile communication.
