> T610 hiss - check sticker on phone

Just read in a UK trade mag. If you check the sticker on the back of the phone, there should be a Week Number. If the phone was made in Week Number 21 or after the phone should be safe from the hiss problem. I do not yet have a T610(still have T68i), so I cannot check this out, maybe somebody can confirm that there is in fact a Week Number on the phone. Has anybody with Week 21 onwards had the problem?

I heard an easier way to check is to look at the side of the box and see if it says R2A which have hissing. If it is says R3A then it should be ok.
That is somewhere in the forums. Not sure where though

i heard phones from week 21 are not all allright. To be sure, week23 and later. In the beginning theve tried to cover up the problem by lowering the ring volume and ect. But id rather have a hissy phone then. If you buy a T610. Watch if it is 03w23 ore later.

Which is it W23+, or R3A that solves the problem ?

My T610 is week 22, and R3C, and has hissing. I am waiting for stock to arrive at the O2 shop for a replacement.
