> Remote P800 with flip closed

Hi there,
I have recently purchased Remote P800 and I an using it to connect by BT. It works really well, except that I need to be able to access the full screen menus on the phone with the flip closed.
I work in nightclubs and DJ from my laptop, and have the remote P800 loaded. The problem is that if someone sends me a SMS, and the flip is closed, it won't let me access the full screen without taking the phone out of my pocket and opening the flip. Sort of defeats the purpose of controlling remotely ....
Anyone any ideas how to get round this without removing the flip completely ?
