I like Nokia's phone lock. In Nokia phones, If the phone lock is on you could still recieve calls, but the phone would be locked until you entered the password. That was great.
I wish SE had a way of password-locking the keypad. It would keep nosey people out of your phone, but you could still receive calls without unlocking it.
Just my opinion.

Looking at my manual for my T610, it seems that this phone does have this feature.
pg 80 - Phone Lock
"The phone lock protects the phone against unauthorized use if it is stolen and the SIm card is exchanged. It is not on when you buy the phone. You can change the phone lock code (0000) to any four to eight-digit personal code. The phone lock can be set to on, automatic or off."

Yes, all SE phones have this feature. But, when the phone lock is on, you can not get to the standby screen and can not receive calls or anything. On Nokia phones, you can still get to the standby screen and receive calls, you just can not make any calls or enter any menu's.
That is the difference, I wish SE had the ability to password protect the keypad in the standby screen.

i think what we are talking here is about have the password protection turned for the keypad. meaning it prompts you password each time you disable the keylock.

P800 has password protection for keyboard lock but it is the only SE to have that feature. 'Phone lock' is, as others have pointed out, only applicable when you first turn on your phone with a new SIM (and for a couple of other things like entering calling card info).
Not all Nokia phones have a password protected key lock though - My 3210, 6210, and 8310 didn't - they just had the standard keyboard lock to prevent accidental use. Is it only recent Nokia models that have introduced this feature? I remember a couple of my much older phones had this feature.
