I'm selling my T39 today and just want to make sure, that I'll be able to transfer the contacts to my T610.

I have synced my phone with Outlook (using bluetooth and XTND connect). When I get the T610 I want to transfer all the contact and calender items to the T610 and sync like I did with the T39. How do I do this?

In earlier threads I saw a christersson.org backup program mentioned, but the site is down. I'm not sure it will restore the data on my T610?

You should be able to do the same with T610
sync Outlook/T610 using and XTND connect.
Atleast it works with T68i and T610 is based on that
so doubt there would be a problem.

You defenitly do not need to use christersson.org backup program
to sync against Outlook.

It's just that I have also tried syncing my T39 with two different computers. This didn't work out. Since one of the computers had no contacts the system thought that I had deleted all my contacts and asked if I wanted to delete them on my phone. So I guess that syncing with more than two items can lead to problems.

Have you tried syncing a T610 with a computer that used to sync with a T68? Did it just work instantly?

I've never owned a T39 but I had a quick look at the manual online and it has the same SEND ALL contacts feature that the T68i and T610 have so if you have both phones in your hands at the same time you could try that before resetting the T39 to give to the buyer.

If you try the XTND way you should not have any problems. I would suggest uninstalling the version you currently have and install the one from the SE T610 global support page (which I have just noticed has changed recently from version 1.5.6 to 1.5.7)

Great, thanks.

Now I have also synced my T39 with "floats mobile agent". I'll just reset the phone then before I sell it.
