can the T610 play/record video and wav files? if not, is there a downloadable software that can do this(download thru wap via gprs)? it would be cool if it can play video/wav files even if it mean sacrificing memory.

Very doubtful; it would have to be a 3rd-party app. Remember, the T610 (and Nokia Series 40) is NOT a symbian smartphone.

Just like the site says, it's third-party software, and is NOT for recording, only playback. Plus, it would have to be re-compiled.
