Hello all, can anyone tell me if when they have the supplied headphones plugged in, that the phone does not ring externally and you can only hear it in the headset. i am having this trouble and would like to know how, if you can, turn this feature off...
i have yet to try just a notmal heandsfree...
i use my hbh-60 normally but it doesnt work in my vans, that why i have to use a wired handfree...

The phone also rings in handsfree mode... only a bit more silent! Check the volume settings for Handsfree mode in Phone Preferences/Sounds and Alert.

of all the phones i had, they all rang into ur headphones...as i find it pretty normal.if u have ur headphone in ur ear, why should it ring externally? U hear it in ur head phones, pretty logic

Here's an example.
I have it in my car, in the car-holder.. I use the headset all the time.. So if i don't unplug the headset everytime i have been talking on the phone.. Then I won't hear it (And I don't wanna sit with the earphones on all the time). If i unplug the headset I must plug the phones in the little jackstick (not always easy when you can't see it!), put the earphones in my ear, and answer... Sometimes I cannot do it in time before people hang up, or it goes over to the answerer!

Well my K700 only rings in the phone, not the headphones, which is really annoying also. How come this can't be set in the menus somewhere, I would sometimes like it the way you guys have, only ringing in the headphones. Is this a firmware issue? I currently have Vodafone SW R7V001
