Hi All,
Yesterday was trying for first time to send via bluetooth an MP4 to ANOTHER P800. For some reason it wouldn't seem to recognise the other phone (nor vice-versa) We even tried a couple of different settings (eg.Discoverable/auto/ON/Always receive/Always Ask etc) and we couldn't seem to get it to work. Had to resort to i/r in the end ..... very very slow!

If anyone could help me solve the problem it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance to all contributors,
James

No, Kass, R2F isn't a fix patch, not for bluetooth anyway. Yes the bluetooth in the P800 is terrible; the T68i was much better. I can't get the P800 to BT sync with my notebook computer, an IBM. I took it to the BMW dealership to try it with their new in-car Bluetooth and it didn't work while the T68i did and so did a Nokia 6310i.
Sony Ericsson know about the P800's BT problems but they don't seem to care.
And to think of them marketing this phone without fax capability!!!

Yeah the P800 bluetooth to pc connection always gets dropped! The T610 to PC is way better...

Fax capability was supposed to allow you to let's say write something in jotter and fax it directly from phone + receive faxes.

I totally agree. they should have had a fix out by now...

Regarding the in-car Bluetooth: The P800 currently does not support the Handsfree profile. This sucks because I work for a company creating the handsfree systems for other automotive companies, and I have to go back to the T68i to test it!

I am seriously thinking of selling mine...
