Well, it would appear that parts of it are there, at least! I heard something about it being implemented, but then not having found anything about it in the phone (though i haven't looked too hard, so don't shout at me if it is!) I presumed it hadn't made the final cut.

yeah, a couple of people noticed that too...

personally I have never used AIM but use ICQ, MSN and yahoo on my pc frequently so any of those would be fantastic although I have all those on my pocketpc too which is probably more usable.

I wonder what the connection with AOL is?

at my university, the only way i can connect to the internet in my room is using AOL (well, you can connect, but it just means expensive calls) only the AOL dial up number (i think its 120) works as a free number. only reason i mention it is because the whole phone system is ericsson (probably SE now, but its older than that) and run by Ericsson (again, SE i guess)
