I have a R2A Wk19 T610 with no hissing but the ringtones don't seem that loud.

Digirain and dataflow are loud but the rest don't seem to be that loud. I have it at the hghest level. I've already missed a couple of calls. Is that the same for everyone else?

Phone call volume is fine, I only have it on 3 bars and it's fine.

My phone hasn't been tampered with hardware wise, (I got from CPW direct) so please let me know if this is normal or not.

It sounds normal to me poly tones are usually softer use software like psmplayer midifixer to increase the volume of the particular poly tones you want then upload to the phone it may help making it louder slightly

Yup, I got the same problem. I use to own a nokia 7650 that supports WAV music files, it was really really loud!!! With the actual voice and music, I NEVER missed a call. Maybe I got used to it, that's why I'm now having a hard time hearing the ringing of my SE T610. But no regrets, it's a GREAT phone. Just to bad, I think the N7650 has ruined my eardrums. Hehehe.....

Maybe that's why you can't hear the T610

I've got Bitter Sweet Symphony (midi) as my ringing tone and that's pretty loud.

T610's sound isn't that really good... you can't hear clearly the polyphonic ringtones... so what is the purpose of poliphonic on T610?
I set the sound up to maximum but still.. the quality is like old monophonic phone... =(

The volume pretty much depends your midi itself ! Just use psmplay program to increase the volume of the midi before transfer to T610........all mine midi are pretty loud and can be heard in busy street !!

the polyphonic tones for the t610 imo are very good in terms of sound quality albiet it suffers from low volume. Try comparing the tones with that of say, a v205 (samsung). The samsung tones all sound like the same instruments and are very "synthesizer" -like, while the t610 tones are almost wav-like in quality.
