I don't get it? thats £560 pounds and someone with a rating of 5 is currently winning it!
Anyway, it says sim free but it doesn't say unlocked and it does day T-mobile branded.

Are you in the UK ?? If u are, then I'm sure you've already compared the price to other T610s on eBay. The reason this T610 is so expensive is because the seller ships worldwide, meaning it attracts more bids than a UK-only auction.
You should easily be able to pick up a SIM-Free T610 on eBay for £250 maximum if you're in the UK !

Looking further into that auction the current winning bidder got feedback on Friday on 2 T610's he bought. One for £780 and the other for £820!
There is a scam going on here somewhere for sure.

cheers for your help guys (and girls), i was just wondering if there was something special about it. i was looking at the posts from previous weeks and theres one about the cheapest new sim free T610 and someone mentioned it for about £219 (if i recall correctly).
what i would ideally like to do is cancel my voda contract, get one of those £10 per month/free text & wap things from 02/Genie and just use that.
but
if i get a sim free one from ebay then there wont be much of a warranty on it, i cant take it back and iron out all the faults ive had with the one i have at present (including another one which noone has mentioned in this forum yet, hmm). I dont like getting expensive things on ebay
