> My T610 is dead please help :(
Bookmark topic
2-3 Days back i finally managed to get my faulty T610 replaced with a non-hissing one.(03W22) I had a tuff time as they were out of stock and fighting and shouting my way thru i some how managed to get one from the SE service center as they are out of stock and there is no stock for 1 week. So by now all the people know my face out there.
Today while using my T610 i wanted to do a master reset of the settings only. I choose the option of resetting the settings and entered the code. It said the phone would restart once its done. After a few seconds the phone went off, and since then it doesnt switch on. I tried to remove the battery and reinsert it. The phone just starts on for 2 seconds, basically tries to show the start up logo and switches it self off again. If i again try to on it, it doesnt come on. Again when i remove and reinsert the battery the phone tries to start up the logo and there it goes dead again in 2 seconds.
So i again have to go to the SE service center, can anyone tell me if i should tell them i tried to reset the phone and them asking me 10000 Questions why i wanted to do it? or shd i just tell them it went off and its not switching on again?
Thanks.

What does it matter if you tell them??
You haven't done anything wrong, your perfectly entitled to reset your phone...
Just tell them the truth!

connect the charger and charge it for like 20 minutes or so, then try to switch it on.

you should have waited for the screen to turn back on and should not take out the batt. that's why you can't turn it back on because once you reset, it wipes off and reload again. before it load fully, you have turned off its power.

I was going to suggest plugging the charger in as well.
Sounds like you may have knackered it though. If this is the case then take it to a

service point and tell them the truth - you did a master reset and this is what you got. (dont tell them about taking out the battery).

Phil.

@ Informer: I tried pluggin in the charger and kept it for half n hour or so dint work
@ Lars: I guess i got too impatient

:(:( I waited for 2 mins or so i dint see it coming back on, so i tried to switch it on manually, but it dint work, so i got more impatient and removed the battery

maybe thats my mistake and fault.
@ phil.n: The SE people here are not so helpful, It took me 2 weeks to convince them that my phone had hissing gosh, and till today they disagree it a hardware problem, instead insit it software, and according to them there is a new firmware which solves the problem! doesnt seem that way from the way other people have posted here.
@ masseur: I doono if they reflashed it would solve the problem or no:(
But now what i instead did was i went to the people who i bought the phone from (They are the main distributors) and i told them i got the phone 2 days back only and it doesnt switch on. I dint tell them anythin more and the sweet people gave me a new phone
Now only i lost all my data:(
Thanks everyone for ur replies, i was wondering what i had done wrong, will be careful next time
