> Sending Pics through email on t610?

Testing my cam on the t610 I wanted to send a pic using the email option on the phone. This I thought would save me memory of having to save my pics every time I take one. Now the question is does the email go through your phone provider i.e. MMS or does it go through your pop provider which I have set up on my phone?
One thing I noticed when I sent the email the GPRS symbols came up but I am still waiting for the email 2 weeks latter. The pop email service I have setup works fine.

to send the pic through pop3 you do have to save it and then attach it to an email you create.
I hope they improve on this in the future. I know on the P800 I had if I said to send by email after taking the pic it did go by pop3.
edit: I tried this last week and the week before sending to my wife. She tried to reply but I have not received anything so perhaps its a one way street.

I have never sent SMS as email but the same option appears to exist in the T610 that was there in the T68i. Go into "messaging" then "text" then "options" then "sms type".

It is worthwhile trying to send pictures using the pop3 e-mail though rather than MMS as it is typically about 1/2 the price (depending on the exact size of the picture and e-mail).
But yes - it is a shame they have made it trickier to do than sending as e-mail via MMS. This is the sort of thing I would expect networks would have tried to make sure of - they will obviously want to make it easier to send MMS and trickier to send e-mail as it means more revenue for them. I am wondeirng whether the unbranded phones have the same options for sending photos. I have only used a Voda Live! branded one - do unbranded / T-mob ones perhaps give the option of sending via e-mail direct from the photo "more" menu?
