> problems with t39m and hbh-60

looking for some help here. I have a t39m and newly bought hbh-60. I can pair the 2 with no problem, but the t39m will not transfer the ring or the voice into the hbh-60. Bluetooth is 'on' not 'auto', tried both profiles normal and port-hf. Re-paired several times. I can use the button on the hbh-60 to start and end calls, but never get a ring or voice in the headset. This is the second hbh-60(returned the first) at the suggestion of SE support, now SE support wants me to return the phone to them. Any help?
