Anyone ordered a t610 from Carphone Warehouse mail order in the last few days?
Can they confirm that they are hiss free.

Can they also confirm that Vodafone handsets are not vodafone live! branded.

I have 2 sitting next to me right now. One I have tested and it is hiss free, the other I have not tested. They are both going back tomorrow!!!
The phones are both W19 R2E. It says R2A on the box. Basically they are reworked and in my eyes reconditioned phones hence me being unhappy to keep them and therefore returning them.
For some reason, this stock is not making its way into the stores, they are waiting for a new batch for the stores!!!
Will that be W23 R3A as reccommended for purchase by SE?

Just done that and ordered one - guaranteed hiss free new and not Vodafone Live branded....
Hopefully it will be ok when i get it tomorrow....

cant decide if its hissing or not - its not completely quiet but its not very hissy either...
Can anyone comment on the screen brightness of the phone - how readable is the clock in screen saver mode - its not that clear to my mind...

Its fine when its sunny, but if you wanna see the clock when its slightly darker, just press the + or - buttons on the side and the screen will light up without removing the clock.

My T610 arrived today from CPW mail order.
It says R2A on the box.
SW Information on the phone shows R1A081
Label on the rear of the phone show 03W19
There is absolutely no hiss during calls, but the polyphonics are quiet, next to my wife's Samsung S300 it is like her phone shouts while mine whispers.
HTH - if anyone has anything specific they would like me to look at on a CPW supplied phone, please ask.

is w23 too much to hope for - I guess so if they are shipping w19 yesterday !
I'm tempted to inspect it before the courier leave but the guy from CPW said I should at least try it out before I reject it - so I will do it...
There must be a
Mountain of returned t610s being created somewhere - what will happen to them all ?
