Strange I don't think of it as complaining. I think of it as requesting more support. I think of it as being a concerned consumer. I know I have the best phone on the market, but I also know it's not the most functional. And I have no indication that the manufacturers are doing what they should to increase its functionality. It's like would you buy a Rolls Royce if you couldn't get any parts for it. Or even better would you buy a Rolls Royce if it only had an AM radio antenna? Sure you could buy another antenna, but shouldn't the company at least have FM if not a CD player and maybe even a changer seeing that even the cheapest Ford can come equipped with those these days. And if you know anything about Rolls Royce's you know that just because you buy a new antenna doesn't mean its going to fit in your Rolls cause you know Rolls' require special antennas. A bit of overkill on the metaphor, but if I am off target do tell me.

And I'm sorry but petitions do work, especially if the people who say petitions don't work support them as well. It's about numbers, that's all. A petition with 50 signatures wont don jack. But a petition with every P800 user on this forum and every P800 user on the other forums, is a pretty strong voice. I would argue that it is potentially the majority of P800 consumers in the world. If SE would ignore that type of statement, they are practically flushing money down the toilet.

as someone on the my-symbian forum said, petitioning Sony won't get you anywhere, since it's a SonyEricsson product not just Sony

In this case i think the petition WILL work, because SE is a 'for profit' company which relies on its reading of the market for suvival and this petition would act as just an opinion from Customers/Potential Customers. Hence I feel that this petion will work.

@primusluta
I agree with you...

In India, support and accessories from is PATHETIC. I'm using a P800 and I've been waiting for the HPR 20 FM Radio handsfree for 4 months now. Today I got intimation from a dealer that ONLY 2 PIECES have reached my city and they have been committed to VIP customers. It alomst made me feel that is "punishing" me for buying the P800 in the first place.
