I'm currently on vodaphone and i've signed up for all the stuff, like WAP and email and the works. I have no trouble going on the WAP and viewing stuff but i can't send emails using the WAP menu or the menu in the messages section. I'd really like to send an attachment with an email using the messages email choice.

Can someone please tell me the settings to set the phone up correctly so i can set up the vodaphone email, or any other email such as hotmail etc.

Thanks

To send and recieve emails from your phone you need to configure it to access your POP/IMAP mail server.
To start you will either need a data/internet GPRS account OR a GSM wap dialup.
Then it is simply a matter of getting the right IP addresses/user name e.t.c.

Have a look at this thread for more info.

Phil.

not sure what use guy89 leaving a reply saying that he can't help you is.

anyway, it might be worth deleting your current settings and going to http://www.vodafone.co.uk and where it says "How do I?" choose "Configure my phone" and follow the instructions. They will then send you an sms with all the configuration you should need and the T300 is listed as a phone they can do that for.

edit: oh... thats assuming you are on vodafone uk!

Oh, well if you can connect and receive emails but not send then it is a simple matter of having the incorrect SMTP server.
You need to use the SMTP server of your service provider (which in your case is vodafone). I am about to leave work so dont have time to find out the correct vodafone smtp server but I know that it was posted not long ago.

If you are on Vodafone UK then you should send the outgoing server to smtp.vizzavi.co.uk
