I am DESPERATELY trying to send/receive emails via my T68. I have set up an e-mail account with orange.net (in the UK), am positive that everything is set up correctly on my phone, yet whenever I try to send or receive emails I am told 'Cannot connect to server' or 'Invalid User ID or password'. But they're not invalid!!!
Any ideas?

In the setup you need to use IP addresses rather than pop.orange.net etc.
pop.orange.net is 193.35.131.188
smtp.orange.net is 193.35.131.155
This is how i got mine to work.

Are you connecting through the Orange gateway?

No, as it wouldn't work at all when connecting throught the orange gateway. I'm actually using the Ericsson WAP gateway.
Cheers.

If you are connected through Ericsson That's the reason you cannot send e-mails through your Orange account.
You can only SEND e-mails through Orange or any other account when you are directly connected, this is to stop spammers.
So connect through Orange and your messages should go.
Cheers
