I have set my screen saver to a nice gif, but after 10 secs that clock turns up. Is there ANY way to disable the damn thing?
The clock is really ugly...

As far as i know, there is NO way 2 disable it. Alot of people dislike the clock, personally i think its an amazing feature.

Dammit, is there any way to like upgrade the firmware without going to a service central and stuff? I mean it would be really nice if they could fix the stuff people are asking 'bout and then release some kind of patch or something...

The clock serves a valid purpose. If the screensaver ran 24/7, your battery wouldn't last any more than a day:-(
