I just flash my T65 to the latest software version R3B007 and the game called "GAME" is gone now!!! =( I only have 3 games now, Biorhythm, E-maze and Tetris. Why did they take away "GAME" if they didn't put a new one!? The only new features I can see with the new SW are:
1. Faster menus
2. Faster T9
3. When recieving a new message, the name of the sender is promtet in the "new message" window that appears when you get a message.

Anyone that have updated to the lastest version?

I just updated about a week ago to R3B007. I had R2B and nothing much has changed... I also think that the T9 is a bit faster. GPRS is working fine (well, it did that earlier, too). I expected something more... I heard that they'd removed the Games and thought that they replaced it with something new... but there's nothing.

I just found a new thing with the new firmware. You can choose the difficulty of the games. There wasn't any such option before.

The bad things is that the "DI-28", infrared modem, doesn't work yet with the phone...

Hi,
Can you see in the callerlist, what specific number called. I mean, in my current R2B version I only see incoming/outgoing/cnacled call and caller name (if it's in the phonebook). I know from the T39m (R3B) that you can also see if it was a mobile numer, fixed, other if the caller is in the phonebook with different numbers... I would really like it if my T65 could also diplay it.
So... does it?

Yes, inthe callerlist you can see if the nr they called you from was the home nr, the cellurar nr or work nr. There is a little icon beside the name of the caller showing that. =)

One more "new" thing...
While writing sms, you only se 4 lines of text!!!
You could se 5 lines before the firmware upgrade, but now they put some more space between the lines and that makes the phone to show just 4 lines while writing the sms.
Yes.. it is still 5 lines when reading the messages.

oops...sorry bout that.

anyways i just upgraded my t65 to r3b a coupla days ago. the main reason why i upgraded was becos previously i only had this stupid game called 'game', and no other games! did anyone ever have this problem?

now like the other users here, i have 3. but thats ok i only want tetris.

about the extra features, well i dun quite feel the faster t9 as claimed by the others here. maybe a very slight increase, but thats hardly noticeable. ive never used a nokia before so i wouldnt know the real difference and how slow the ericsson t9 actually is. the menu speed probably gotten a tad faster, but thats about it. also, i think going into the inbox or sent mail options under sms now will bring up the 'Please Wait' box - the loading time of the inbox/outbox perhaps have been improved slightly, but then again, maybe this is just another placebo effect?

the worst thing about the upgrade for me though is now the phone simply shuts itself off and automatically brings up the enter PIN screen. this happens quite often, probably once a couple of hours, but lately its been like several times per hour, even. did the technician screw up my phone? can anyone help?? i plan to bring the phone back to them. is it possible to ask for an entirely new phone since im still under warranty?

thanx for your input!

ps: i just looked at my phone again, and aarrgh, there's that enter PIN screen again! this is so frustrating

calvinator.... just so you know... there is new SW version out, released last week.... R4A you can ask for another phone... it's not completley new, it's a reconditioned phone, but it does look as it's new just leave your phone to the servicepoint and they'll probably replace it with a swap unit (=reconditioned phone)
