Can someone please post how to email or sms a ringtone to my T306. I have tried sending ringtones via sms & email but (imelodie,Poly,ect) but every time my phone gets the message it doesen't recognise it as a ringtone! just a message. Only when I forward that same message to myself after taking out everything but the body of the original message will the phone then recognise it! Most sms portals I've seen only allow 160 char's how do you send a prety long imelodie via sms or email??

erm, the t306 cannot open email attachments. and u can send polyphonic ringtones via sms. why dont u just get a IrDA port?

Thanks for the ingfo on the reply. But if my motherboard states it has an irda port do I only have to enable it in The bios for it to work with my phone or do I have to buy supportive equipment addons in order to transfer to my phone. Thats the part I cant visualize as possibly working by turnign on the infared port on my phone & just pointing it at my computer!(I know that sounds funny but you'll have to excuse me on the behalf of my ignorance to the technonlgy) Please explain more in detail!!! (The Ir Process or the original question via sms or email)
