Hi,

I have just bought a T610 on vodafone, but I am unhappy with the branding on the front and back cover.

Several people have posted that these can be removed using nail polish remover, but I was wondering if anyone out there can confirm they have carried this out without damaging the metal covers ??

Thanks,

Mark

nail polish remover is just an organic solvent, it wont harm metal.

just be careful to remove it with something non abrasive.

...and keep the solvent off anything plastic (e.g. the screen?).

Use a cotton stick can't go wrong with that

Hell no, just scratch em off!

Worked for me and it's fairly quick as well, just be careful what you use to take it off! The one on the front was easy, started coming off by it's self anyway... The one on the backs a little more tricky

Did you get any scratches or colour differences when it was removed?

sometimes there will be a faint leftover, like them stuck between the hairlines of th cover... simple! just use and eraser and rub it off!

Thanks for the tips guys !!

I managed to remove the back logo without too much trouble. The one on the front was a bit more of an arse !!

Cotton bud with nail polish remover, then scratching with the nail, the phone looks perfect with no trace that a logo was there at all !!

i can't get my t-mobile (sorry vlamm) logo off. tried nail varnish remover (was sitting on the floor scrubbing for ages) and an eraser (this time i was sitting at the table, and, you've guessed it, for even longer) but with no luck.

Try soaking the logo with the nail polish remover on a cotton bud, this will help disolve the adhesive and hopefully assist with removing the logo. I managed to do it this way using my finger nail with a bit of pressure. Quite a slow process, but not sign of any logo when completed !!
