Right, where do I begin... Ok, best bet is to go point by point.
My troubles pretty much began when I got Handyday...
* When certain numbers in my phone book call or text I no longer have their names coming up - even though they are in my phone book!
* Their pics also do not pop up!
*After 3 rings a call is transfered directly to voice mail!
* At times, when I try to send a SMS nothing happens at all... after frantically hitting the SEND button I get a message saying that memory is full... thing is, it aint even close to being full!
* I can't close GPRS Data log!
* I'm sure there a few other faults but can't think of them right now...
I've tried switching the phone off - n on again... to no luck.
I've updated a back up... to no luck.
I've re-entered names and telephone numbers... to no luck.
I've finally run outta ideas...
Any help much appreciated.

Need to reboot the phone to fix this. I got it 2 days ago and reboot was the only thing which helped. Not even flushing the memory with sman helped.
Hope someone else got an idea. This is nothing that can be solved with and update. I got R2F.

w.r.t. the memory full message, I find Opera eats memory big style. I don't know whether or not it has a memory leak but it certainly seems to like running on its own. If you use Opera, make sure its closed down and see if it helps at all.

Sounds like you should use tracker.... I used handyday trial for a few days and really didnt like it.
Then i tried out tracker... it is far better, haven't had any problems with it what so ever!
My advice, uninstall handyday, then restore your phones memory with one of your old back ups then have a look at tracker.

I'd wager that most if not all those problems are unrelated to HandyDay and think it's a coincindence, though of course I could be wrong... one thing about the data log - is your GPRS set to never timeout? That might cause it to always keep the log open.
I used HandyDay, then bought the new Tracker and have since gone back to HandyDay. IMHO Tracker is a useless program. The Today view is bogus and confusing, my phone stopped checking email automatically with Tracker, and the Applications desktop - well, why?
That's just my HO. But objectivly, Tracker is useless. If you use your p800 for work and need a good Today screen, HandyDay is the way to go. If you're a gadget nerd and like to stare at icons, then go with Tracker.

Tracker is a must. it has everythin that handy day +.
Only to close the GPRS log is grab tracker, this will give you the option to 'kill' the process. just closes stuborn apps.
The problem with the msgs is that most apps stay open in the background when you close them.
Since i downloaded tracker and began closing these i have havent had the problem and i'm only using the trial version.

If you're getting the memory full when sending a SMS it's possible that your phone is setup to save the SMS to the SIM instead of saving them to the phone.

@teg
My SMS goes right into the phone and are not saved on the SIM. How do you setup so that they are sent to the SIM instead? I didn't see such an option when browsing the phones different settings.
