> T610 Screen whilst charging
Bookmark topic
I charged my T610 for the first time last night. I turned the phone off and plugged in the charger. The joystick glowed red as expected and the key/screen lights came on.
No problem so far as this happened with my T68i. However, after about 5-10 seconds the key lights go off but the screen stays on! It says "charging only" and remains illuminated.
Has anyone else noticed this? It seemed to stay illuminated for ages (i fell asleep eventually but assume it stayed on until fully charged). Surely this is very bad for the screen and even the way the battery is charged as it's using a lot of power to keep the screen on!

I have noticed that too. sometimes the light just goes off as normal after the usualy delay and sometimes it stays on for 5 mins or so. never seen it stay on for the full charge though.

Another thing is when u charge your phone while it is on, after some delay, it shows the standby clock. Unlike in the t68i, where if the phone was charging, the light would always be on, and once the charge is complete it would show the standby clock.
Anyone else noticed this? ie: the standby clock shows up in the t610 althought the phone is not yet fully charged.

yep. exactly, so there is no way to know when the charge is finished.
(not going to get into that one though as we will be back into the joystick LED conversation!
