any1 having problems with the docking station (USB) not connecting?
The charge works fine on it... the USB connection though will not connect

i noticed during the past uses the station disconnected while touching the phone (slightly) now it wont connect at all.

Any suggestions? fixes?

Test to turn of the keylock before you put it in the cradle, it worked for me.

I assume you have tried all the usual things:

1. reboot the pc
2. try to link the USB docking station first and then place the phone on the docking station
2.5 try to use another USB port
3. checked that the right com port is selected under properities for the PC Link
4. The right com port is enabled using the Phone Monitor in the control panel
5. Checked that the phone itself is not set-up as a modem (control panel/cable)

The last resort is to use the new PC Suite s/w from the SE support site, I think it is now version 2.01.

Lift up the back of the cradle a few cm, et voila! mine is resting on a stack of cds as it won't connect otherwise!

Have you tried to clean the contacts under your phone? I had my service provider clean it real good and then my phone connected to the computer with the usb craddle just fine

It's mostly a problem with PC suite... it sometimes happens, just without reason that the software don't function anymore.
Just desinstall it and install it again, works for me everytime.

if you remove your powercable to the station you will se if the light is on or off, conected or not, press the p800 hard strait down 90¤ and slowly push the phone back to its resting angel, still with hard pressure strait down but with out bending the angel. it works for me.
