I'm the proud owner of a T610 that i got from vodafone in Germany. Great phone, stupid voda software. I'm thinking about flashing the phone with the method from www.logosunlimited.co.uk. They are offering the "EU1" version of the "R1A081" firmware. So my question is:
What are these different "EUx" versions? Mine is "EU7" (Full SW-Info string: "R1A081 prgCXC125-598_EU_7"). Will my phone work with the "EU1" version? Is this a version specific to the UK?

it will work yes... but... remember that upgrading by yourself will void the warranty. So if anything goes wrong... don't count on that you can have it repaired under warranty.

Thanks!
I think it's worth to try to flash it. Of course it would be nice if someone could report that the flashing really works.
But, does anyone know what the EUx versions really are? Actually, something MUST be different beween them. Maybe the EUx versions ARE the branded ones? Would be nice to know.

the only difference is the languages.

EU1: English, French, Portuguese, Spanish
EU2: English, French, German
EU3: English, Danish, Dutch, French
EU4: English, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish
EU5: English, French, German, Italian
EU6: (Vodafone) English, Dutch, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish
EU7: (Vodafone) English, French, German, Italian,Arabic, Hungarian

So, am I right that only with the EU2 and EU5 versions the language option "german" is availible and with the other versions I can't use german as the menu language?
