How to make sms only saved on phone memory?

I'm not sure exactly what you want but to make an SMS on the T68 you go to messages, sms then write new.

To save it on the phone memory enter some text and then press the NO key and it will be saved to the unsent folder on the phone.

Is that what you want?

or do you mean incoming sms? in that case just don't delete after reading, it'll save on the phone. Mind you, it WILL delete when u take your SIM card out. I honestly don't think there's another way.

yeah, you're right... that must be what he wants. I guess I was taking him too literally. Friday night and a few beers...

Its one thing I still haven't gotten used to since moving 18 months ago from Nokia to Ericsson/SE... how they like everything in the phone rather than the SIM card which can be moved from phone to phone.

I agree. I have unintentionally erased quite a few things while switching beteen my T Mo and my Voda sim....... well maybe it took me a bit long to realzie this was happening as well..

u dont have to save it to sim though on the p8, if u put in another chip, u will get ur old msgs plus the new ones on that current sim very handy, when one chip has free text, whilst the other has free calls
