> reason for t610 screen flickering
Bookmark topic
Hi,
Regarding the issue of the flickering screen, I've never experienced that flicker on my t610 before except for 1 time but that was because I was near some light source that had a bad refresh rate. I think it was some mini fluorescent tube or something. Could it be the lights are causing the lcds to flicker?

No no,
look at the phone charging, or play a mophun game especially
qsoccer.
The you will see the flickering.
Qsoccer must be the worst I ever seen when it comes to screen flickering, but the game is good

Mine flickers as well, apparently there are T610s without flickering, so I'm going to try to get mine replaced.
The flickering is the most irritating during Mophun games, making photos and writing an SMS.
I think it is caused by bad power management; the display light loses power to the CPU it seems. Either that or the LED strobing power is interrupted by the CPU somehow.
Mine also has dark horizontal lines and stationary noise in the camera sensor, most easily seen when using night mode.

I thought the flicker is normal ... if you look closely, you can see the scan line from left to right .... and yes, it gets worse during gaming.

It's not the display itself flickering though, it's the backlight that flickers.
I've read about laptops with the same problem, it was caused by a bad inverter IIRC which wrongly divided the power between elements of the laptop.
My T300 doesn't have any of these flicker problems and like I said I read posts from people who don't have this problem.
