Does the standard T610 come with the calling card feature as most SonyEricsson phones?

Have Orange removed this feature from their customised phones?

Will it be easy to restore if it has been removed?

I can answer the first part. The standard T610 does have the calling card feature. Its in Calls, Time and Cost, Calling Cards.

Cheers, I think that is one of the best features of an Ericsson phone. I just hope Orange haven't removed it...

I just got my Orange T610 today and can confirm that the calling card fucntion is still in there and it works - although now instead of holding down the call button you click more and then call via card is the top option - so two clicks instead of one hold.

Yea I remember I signed up for this small time calling card company called Direct Call a few years ago when I had just got my new spanking T18!
I figured out how 2 use the calling card feature and mentioned it to the guy who ran the company (who woz trying 2 tell me the long drawn manual way how 2 use the service with my phone) and he gave me £20 off my next bill!

I dont think Orange would take this feature off as they find out quikly what the 0800 calling card numbers are and charge u for them. Mind u I was bit pissed that they only give 0800 numbers free on their own calling plans, which I dont rate very highly.

When I was on Everyday50 before, I remember my combined calling card and Orange bills were about £100-150 a month. This was usually for about 3000+ minutes of calls a month calling any1 and every as it was so cheap 24/7!
Onetel even mistakenly charged me 3p/m instead of 20p/m for about a month oncefor ringing certain 121 numbers. Those were the days...
