I know you can send DTMF tones during a call just by pressing the keypad during a call.
But can you send a specific no. in your phonebook via DTMF on the phone during a call without having to type it out manually?

its the tones generated by pressing the keys on your telephone.

you can use it for phone banking or checking your answering service or choosing options when you call in to companies and they have a telephone menu to get you through to the right person etc etc etc.
you are probably using it everyday without knowing that you are using DTMF tones.

The option of sending a predefined string of numbers from the phone book on older ericssons, i have not seen it on the T610, or maybe i havent looked hard enuff to find it
But yes, during a call, u can send DTMF:) hope that answers ur question.

I just got my T610. You can program DTMF tones in your phone book by holdiing the 7 key until a P appears. I think this indicates a pause. After that you can enter in # or whatever numbers you need. I have an entry set up to call a number and log into my voicemail number and enter in the password in one entry.
