Does anybody out there know if there is a way to disable the "vodafone Live" logo on the standby menu ?
I know the vodafone live phone has heavily modified software, but would be great if this could be disabled, as there is still the joystick and the side button which take you straight there.
Plus the logo spoils the look of some of the donwnloaded themes making them look crap !!

Mark,
Yes, you can get your phone flashed to remove the Vodafone live icon on the desktop, and get rid of those ugly Vodadone icons and replaced by the much nicer original SE ones. I got my done by
www.mobilexchange.net and I couldn't be happier with it.

Well, as far as I'm aware, they flashed the phone using the original SE software, i.e. if you were to look at the firmware names and revisions, it would look exactly the same as a standard SE phone. I suspect some extra 'tweaking' was required though. With regard to how the phone looks now, all of the deskop icons are now as they would be on a standard SE phone. What remains are the pictures added by Vodafone (i.e. Ferrari and so on) and the default vodafone WAP profiles. Unfortunately, at this time, these cannot yet be deleted. To be honest though, that doesn't really bother me, my main concerns were the horrible desktop icons, and the Vodafone live button, and those have both been zapped!
