As most are aware, NowMMS is soon to be taken offline.
The search is on for a free alternative to this service. What we need is an MMSC, or MMS server, that handles our MMS messages for free, so that instead of the charge per MMS, we just get charged for MMS transfer, or not at all.
If you have found any alternatives to this service, please list them here. May I also request that unless you have useful information do not post in this thread - let's try and keep it neat and tidy. No posts of "Yeah, anyone know any?" or "I want to know this too!".
Cheers, jaydee.

I have searched thoroughly already, but cannot come up with a free worldwide mms service.
Maybe instead we should try and figure out if it's possible to BUILD and maintain one??? Anybody who has an idea if it can be done, please post

I am working on a simple MMS system at the moment.
Currently you can :-
1) Send a message to an email address - recipient receives an email with attachments.
2) Save a picture to an "album" - viewable over the web.
3) Send a message to a mobile phone. Recipient recives a WAP link to the message - only pics work at the moment. (needs a subscription to a specific sms service for this to work)
ANy interest?
