hmmm.....

guys, I got my T610, but i think I've found the bug here....
when you set the picture (screen size) and personal ring tone to your particular contact list, during incoming call for that contact where the picture and the ring tone are assigned, the picture shown normal but the ring tone seemed to be not normal......
you see, when you received an incoming call, right in the bottom showing three lines of information, 1st is the name of the caller, 2nd is the line and 3rd one is" answer". The second line (line info) sometimes it scrolls, this is causing the ring tone is hung when it scrolls and back to normal when it (line info) sit.......

PS: it didn;t happen when the picture is small......

Does anyone have the same problem???

Actually, I dont think its a bug at all. If you use big image sizes like 127x128, obviously it has to load the image during the call...the bigger the image the heavier for it to load which why it causes that 'lag'

well kieboy I agree with you,....but...

loading the image wont take whole day right, just need a second and the thing is once the image is completely loaded, the 'lag' is still there whenever the line of "Line used" is scrolls.....

what do you think???

I'm really not sure how to solve it. What I always do when I want to put a pic on my contacts is I take a picture of them then edit it into the perfect size IMHO for the contact pic which is 112x112. This way, it will only consume 3kb of the size plus with the raw format summing up to 26kb compared to the 58++kb sizes..consuming your memory. And guess what? No lags

kieboy:

Update your firmware to R1L (T610). They solved the problem already. Thanks

What problem? the memory allocation or the LAG? Please let it be the memory allocation

no, the lag has been fixed.

As has been discussed many times, there is no memory allocation problem... its just the way the phone works for quick performance of displaying pictures.
