well a person called 'nancykoe' seems to have put loads of bids in... and seeing as he/she has a rating of 0, it does seem dodgy...
but then looking at the highest bidders profile... he's got this anti ebay fraud thing... tis all very weird...

Yeah something similar was spotted in
this thread which this dejavuloe was involved in too.
Would be interesting to know what is going on and why the prices are so high.
My thoughts are that it is a credit card scam of some sort, perhaps where one ebay account puts up an auction for stuff and the other wins it and uses the stolen card somehow via paypal or whatever. Could even be the same person with 2 ebay accounts or something like that.

ebay won't do anything unless you are directly involved in a problem with the auction.
I am sure they will not act on comments from some third party.

They do take action, my friend noticed an auction for a Sony Picturebook (not available in the UK and now discontinued) for way under the normal price. the sellers history had nothing for over sixmonths (you can't check the links) but all the previously sold items were low value trinkets. It turned out the guy had scammed the Ebay ID to get a good rating and then 'sold' several high value computers...that did not exist. Ebay pulled the plug.
Standard Ebay warning - if it ilooks too good to be true , it probably is!
