to anyone out there who has this game working, which files can i do without?
i have the game but its 15 meg, what files will i be able to rid myself of and still have a working game

I wouldnt remove any of the files to be honest! Chances are it will look for the sound files even if no audio is playing. Maybe if there is a readme file but thats probably less than 20k anyway.

The only files I copied onto my memory stick were the tentacle.000 and tentacle.001 files and it works with no problems at all.

I haven't seen a tentacle.003 file and I have the original game on CD from which I copied the files from ?

if it is off of a CD, that may mean that my version is off of diskette. not sure.
