> Using MS Contacts on T610 (UK dialling codes)
Bookmark topic
Hi there,
From what I can see, its possible to copy my MS Outlook contacts onto my T610. however, Outlook stores UK telephone numbers like this:
+44 (020) 8123 1234 but when calling this number you have to DROP the leading zero, so you actually dial: +44 20 123 1234.
Does anyone know if the T610 can do this automatically, or do I have to remove the leading zeros from all of my UK MS Outlook contacts?
Thanks very much
Vince

I think the bad news is you have to edit your contacts in outlook to remove the extra zero.
Is this the first time you have synched to a phone? I have never had a phone that could deal with numbers in international format with the zero in there.

Yes this is my first phone with organiser type software....so I've never had to try it before...looks like a long night removing zeros!
