Hi all,
Recent I have been having trouble with the backlight on my P800.
When typing text or doing anything with the flip closed, the backlight will not come on.
I have to open the flip just to see what the hell I am doing, or go the control panel>display>light on.
But of course then the battery will die in half the time.
Can anyone help, or has anyone had a similar problem?
I do have the updated R2D on handset

Recently had the same problem. I had that problem after I try to put my other MS duo to the back of battery. I fixed it by push the power off for 10 sec (eventhought there was no hang).

I had the same issue.
I contacted SE repair centre, they said send the phone over and we shall check it out.
I don't wanna send it to them, i can't live without my baby for a week.
So contact SE and send your phone over to them or go there and show them.

It happened to me also, but only after i installed that unreal player thingie, my backlight settings changed every time from auto -> off. I thought my phone was dying :S
