Well I found out a way to save some memory.
Download any theme editor. Take the default t610 themes, ie. magma glow, nocturne, down below, blue vision and deep ocean. Open it with the theme editor and delete the wallpaper and save the theme. This way the theme file size would be reduce by 8 to 10 kb and also when you apply the theme the wallpaper which would take abould 30 - 40kb would not take any space at all.
So in each theme you save about 30 - 40kb. Making a total save of 160 - 200 kb if you install all the above mentioned themes on your t610.
This is only for people who do not use the default background of the themes and apply their own background. Even if you want one background out of all the above mentioned themes then save the background on your t610 in my pictures and then apply. It would still save much space. Don't bother editing the classical theme as it cannot be deleted!
The recommended theme editor would be Theme Creator Pro 3G and not the SE official Beta editor. There were some problems with that!
If any of you guys want the edited version of the theme ie. with out the background, then give me your email address and I would email them to you. I have them all!

Everybody complaining about the 2Mb space in the T610
Siemens brings out the MC60 with +- the same specs as the T610 (build in camera, MMS, GPRS, ... but no bleutooth and 4k colors)
With only 1MB of Space. So we dont need to complain

First i thought 2mb was a little.. but now after a couple of weeks i think 2mb is enough for me.. just have them themes you really want and those games you are playing.. i could almost delete everything when i got the phone..

by the way, how do you overwrite those themes? when you beam any theme with the same filename to the phone, it creates another copy instead of overwriting it. i really doubt the idea.

by the way guys, do you find it weird? for example, you know in
My Pictures, when you choose
more and
picture info, it says
15KB in size. but when you choose
delete, it says
58KB. but for
Themes, you choose
theme info, it says
45KB. but when you try to
delete it, it also says
45KB! do you see the difference? isn't it weird?

Because only backgrounds, MMS and screensaver would taken much more memory than its actual size. Themes, games, midi etc won't taken more memory than actual size !

Midi ringtones take up a lot of space, from 30-60kb depending on the length of the song. For ringtones, we can only hear a small portion of it before the incoming call goes into voice mail. So if we could cut the portion of the midi that we want to use as ringtones, that could save a lot of memory.
Does anyone know any freeware/shareware that can split and join midi files? I've been googling but can't seem to find any.
