Just thought I'd post a quick message to say how impressed I am with my P800.....

I've had my phone now for over a month now, and the amount of things that it can do has blown me away:

Last week, I was in the Canary Islands, browsing the Internet via Opera and my dial-up internet connection and then using WorldMate to check the weather and convert my currency - oh, and taking some quick holiday snaps at night. On the flight home, I didn't fancy watching the in-flight movie so I switched it to flight mode and watched a couple of episodes of Friends and Simpsons that were stored on my 128mb Duo card. When they were finished, I had a quick game of Strategic Assault - which is class.

At home, I can use my Bluetooth connection to browse the internet in my front room via my PC's ADSL connection and control my TV using the IR remote.

When I'm in the office, the calendar synchronisation with Outlook is a godsend and I also use JMSN to keep in touch with collegues when I am travelling between sites.

Last night, I finally got Bemused working properly on my phone which was the icing on the cake. I have a couple of wireless 5 watt speakers to play music from my PC. With Bemused, I can now be sat in my back garden or the front room with one of the speakers, and then control all MP3s played from my PC using my phone. It's fecking genius!!

I know it sounds like I'm boasting about all of this, but I just wanted to show everyone just how much can be done using this phone! No other phone on the market comes close to it in my view.

If anyone knows of anything else that can be done with this phone then please let me know.......

Cheers
Satisfied Customer

You only need to enable the bluetooth serial port service and once that service has been established with the phone you can immediately surf using opera.

not really (in my case) I'm assuming you're using windows. If you're on a mac, I'm afraid I can't help.

I've set the p800's bluetooth to 'on' or 'discoverable'. Then I initiate the bluetooth serial port service from the PC. Once it tells you that it has initiated the service and has paired with the phone, you should see the phone connection link in the system tray say that the phone is connected (test by using windows explorer that you can browse through your memstick/phone memory) Once those conditions are met, you should be able to browse using opera.

ps.
if someone knows how to automatically start the serial port service from the phone itself, would appreciate it very much if you could tell me
