Is there a way on either T300 or T610 to get the phone to send an alert tone when you have recieved new e-mail?

I dunno cos i ain't got ne of those fones but my t68i has an option to check my emails at a certain interval, maybe they have that option?

For it not to get out of hand here... I KNOW that the T300 and T610 can recieve e-mail, I also know that you can set a Check Interval, BUT can you get an alert tone if, during these checks, you have new e-mail?

I'm pretty sure this feature doesn't exist as I have looked many times because its crazy that you can get the phone to check automatically at intervals for new mail but not notify you if there is any! I have just had another look at options in my T610 and in the manual and certainly I am sure this is true.
This is one feature I did like in my brief 3 months with the P800.

can't find this option too. it only displays a email alert icon at the top, but no alert at all. there's no settings for email alert in the sound and alert. sad indeed.
