According to mobileburn.com, Cingular have launched the world's first EDGE service in the Indianapolis. They're saying it delivers data rates of 75-135 Kbps for the same price as GPRS. Of course you need an EDGE enabled phone. See: http://mobile.burn.com/news.jsp?Id=382
