> Call Waiting Just Wont Work

After about 20 SIM updates I now at least have the call waiting menu on my T610, until the last SU I didnt even have the menu!
Now, however when I press 'activate' I simply get the message back 'Call Waiting Command Error'.
Orange cus service are as useLESS as ever, and at the moment the best they can come up with is 'faulty - take it back', they cant even do a diagnostic cos teh T610 aint on the system yet!
Can anyone give me a straight answer, it cant be faulty!
