I am sorry to bring this up again (i included it in another post) but its rather important because it may mean me wasting one hell of a lot of money.
I tried to take my upgrade phone back under a 14 day return policy to a vodafone shop becuase 1) - its faulty, and 2) - i can't afford to keep paying ludicrous Voda bills (and 3 - they've monged up the T610, still annoying me, even though its sitting in its box)
but anyway, I took it back after 15 (maybe 16) days because i have been at university in Birmingham and got the phone in Windsor, and they wont accept it.
Question: does this mean im stuck on voda for the next year? or is there something i can do to remedy the situation?
ideally I would like to stop the voda contract and go onto an O2 online tarrif (especially with the phone being so cheap!)
any help would be most appreciated!

As far as I know, once the 14 days is up, you're stuck on the contract.
But at least you should be able to get a new phone if it's faulty. I think you should have 28 days for that, before they start sending it off for repair... although I'm not too sure about Voda.

thank you! but unfortunately it was due to reasons beyond my control. When i got the phone, i didn't realise they had ruined it, also, they have had so much of my money, i have been ripped off!

And about the Vodafone customisations, didn't you try it before you bought it?? Anyway, certain mobile shops are now offering a complete phone-flash, that wipes your phone, and reflashes it with the contents of a SIM-free model, effectively removing all customisations...
About £20 I think. Search the forum for info.

you should be glad you have 14 days or 28 days. over here, we only have 7 days and its only to exchange faulty sets, the contract stays no matter what.

Unless if its faulty ofcourse they repair it under warranty for you, but no 7 , 14, 28 days stuff, to give the set back if you not satisfied

I am calling Vodafone retail now to see if i can sort this out, otherwise, the people in the shop said that i will have to wait until the manager returns, which is on the 13th, which will push me further and further away from the 14 day return guarantee.
