I have r1b. The latest i believe is r1g.
I have experienced problems downlaoding MMS a few times. this had 2 causes:
1. My provider had BAD gprs
2. The MMS was simply too big.
I have not had any problems however, since T mobile got their act together (not even with big files)

1) I've got R2B.
2) Yes, if you're receiving an MMS which is bigger than the free space on your phone, for example a 2k image if you've only got 1k free space, you just see a red cross instead of the image. Wether you delete some items to free some space or you don't, the image is useless! You've got to ask your friend to resend the MMS, and -believe me- that ain't funny! (I don't know who's to blame, SE or my operator :-l)

Thankyou Valmmetje
I have just spent 10 minutes searching
www.sonyericsson.com for information on where to find my local sony ericsson care centre. Even though they mention the care centres in the info about warrantys, i can't find any way to locate any! Any pointers?

@MiXiN, you're SO right! (Just for example) A _paid_ Nokia update can cost up to $250 - you can get a new phone for that! :-o
