Ok I'm sure this has been covered in one of the 57 pages of topics but i appologize, my modem is just too damn slow to serach them all.
I have a sony ericsson t68i phone with the 29.99 dollar T-mobile basic plus plan (300min + weekends).
I want to be able to browse the net through this WAP deal. I still after reading all these posts dont fully understand what it is. Do i have to pay extra for this service?
also this is unrelated but if i use my palm and my phone to dialup to my internet provider on my free weekends that's treated as a normal phone call right?

in terms of dialling up to your ISP, that would be classified as a data call and would most likely have different rates and/or not be included in your free minutes. furthermore, when you connect to the net by calling an ISP, the data transmission rate is only 9600 bps and you are billed per minute that you are connected.
since your phone has GPRS, it's much better to connect directly to the net via T-mobile's GPRS network. connection speed is probably around 28kbps to maybe 56kbps if you're lucky, and you are billed based on kb of data transmitted instead on time.

WAP browsing - will be a normal call cost (depending on the number of the wap provider you call).
GPRS is a better way to browse - you pay for the data you send/receive, rather than for call duration. You'll need to check the tariff on this (price per Mb). Usually works out loads cheaper - also for example, using GPRS to check your POP email account, your phone can poll the server at intervals to check for new mail....neat!
