There are no official messenger programs for the P800 (as far as I'm aware) although Java MSN is pretty good. I use IM+ because it logs me into ICQ, MSN and Yahoo! all at the same time using the same list. The only trouble with IM+ is that there is no trial version so you have to take a chance and buy it.

Edit: I just tried out Yahoo! Messenger for P800. I don't think it's official but its still pretty good. It's a simple midlet and will work using GPRS and will even work through a PC connection ie cable, Bluetooth, etc. As far as I know it's freeware so I've hosted it here. (Someone please let me know if it isn't)

I use yahoo messenger on the p800 and it works fine with GPRS. If you would like a copy, email me at NOT AVAilable and I will send you one.

I got rid of yahoo messenger because it had too many bugs. I have use agilemessenger which is fawless.

I have taken my email address of here because I was averaging at about 3 emails a day asking for the damn thing.

I've just downloaded MyBuddies and after a few set up problems it now works great.

Anyone with a girlfriend or friend who has a P800 should try this software it really is a nice free app.

Go to http://www.my-symbian.com/uiq/applications/applications.php?fldAuto=62&faq=6

you and your girlfriend, friend need to get a icq number from icq.com (register with icq lite http://www.icq.com/download/ works fine) fairly simple 5 minute process

the app is in my mind a 9 'must have' and its FREE!
