I have a T68 mobile that i connect to my laptop with GPRS via infrared.
Problem is the phone dials and connects to remote computer, verifies
password and then connects but it goes no further. I connected to outlook
express ok and it would download my emails but it won't go any further with
internet explorer. Just seems to freeze once connected... Any ideas..Tia..

I guess you have created Dial-up connection urself by giving that strange number like *99***(CID)#. I did the same but was having exactly same problem as u. Then I ended up downloading 'Connect Me' software from Vodafone site and that was it! It worked like a magic. I guess there are some more settings to dial-up connection (like dial type - GPRS, PDP - IP instead of PPP) which we can't adjust thru dial-up wizard. Anyway, If you are on vodafone network in UK, then 'Connect Me' will mostly work for you too. Otherwise Im sure there will be similar software available for your service provider's website. If you can't find, then post a message a I will try to find that for you.
